Oh, it's way less repentant than I read it as.
"I gave life in Auschwitz, I did not take it." This is unrepentant murder doktor. Which, ya know, from reports an add, is not at all uncharacteristic.
I, being the anglophone I am, smacked it into google translate and got "I was living in Auschwitz; I wasn't there." Which I thought was a little nicer. Buuuuut I'm not gonna... Go into that.
